About Originals by Ramona

It all started 30 years ago when my mother taught me how to sew a simple dress from a pattern.  This is when I realized my passion for sewing and fabrics!  I went on to study fiber arts courses at Colorado State University, then completed the two-year Professional Sewing Program at Emily Griffith Opportunity School in downtown Denver in 1999.  A few years later, I returned to Emily Griffith Technical College to study upholstery.  In 2016, I officially started this business, and as the workload grew, my husband joined me. Together, we create custom cushions, custom upholstery pieces, pillows, Roman shades, draperies and more!

Over the years, we’ve crafted hundreds of cushions and reupholstered everything from furniture and RV interiors to boat seating, golf carts, church pews, and headboards...the list goes on and on! No matter the project, we’re dedicated to delivering a high-quality finished product you’ll love.

As a custom upholstery and sewing business, we take pride in our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. And most importantly, we will always charge a fair and reasonable price for our work.
